Inspiration propels a person from apathy to possibility, and transforms the way we perceive our own capabilities. Inspiration may sometimes be overlooked because of its elusive nature. Its history of being treated as supernatural or divine hasn’t helped the situation.

In a culture obsessed with measuring talent and ability, we often overlook the important role of inspiration. Inspiration awakens us to new possibilities by allowing us to transcend our ordinary experiences and limitations.

There are 3 kinds of Inspirations:
Spontaneous Inspiration: This is evoked spontaneously without intention. It involves being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative.
Transcendent Inspiration: This is more animalistic and intuitive, it often involves a moment of clarity and awareness of new possibilities beyond self-serving concerns and limitations. This moment of clarity is often vivid, and can feel like a grand vision, or a light bulb moment , getting some kind of insight into something like never before, ( that was probably always there), I like to call it a rhema.
Approach Motivation: This happens when you suddenly get motivated by an idea or a cause. You will do all it takes to transmit, express, or actualize a new idea or vision.
I'm not spontaneously or intuitively creative, so I’d do all it takes to transmit , express or actualize my ideas.

How to channel your inspiration
Research! In combining function and aesthetics I've often turned to inspiration to do the leading, I always say ' In inspiration we trust 'and when I say Inspiration, I actually mean approach motivation. For me, my creative design process starts as an exploration into a theme , an idea or a concept . How does you start yours?
