As designers, we have to rely on highly diversified professional skills: product design , selection of new fabrics, photographic set, graphic design, communications, decoration of display spaces. This creative cycle is where ideas are conceived, developed and shaped to make unique projects , catering to a lifestyle , philosophy or design code and turning concepts and ideas into reality.

In creating this mood board, I examined some interesting concepts through photography, focusing on texture, light and pattern compositions. It all started with this one mysterious barrel shaped accent chair with pleated upholstery details and a shibori patterned back rest, placed by a fireplace....From that image, I explored a conceptual framework that illustrates the qualities of haptic information across products, materials, and forms.

Haptic information, or information attained through touch by the hands, is important for the evaluation of design and products. These haptic features vary in terms of material properties related to texture, hardness, temperature, and weight.

I'm a visual person, so pictures really do speak volumes at first sight, but now I've learnt look deeper and observe design not just for its aesthetic qualities, nothing beats designing something from a core that stimulates more than one of your senses .
