BLUSH RUSH

NATURE-INSPIRED AND NATURALLY DISTINCTIVE

Our set for this month is blush rush, it features a delicate tint of pink, with subtle golden accents, and a soft grey undertone that gives it an almost animated hue that energizes and enlivens the mood.

Inspiration: My main inspiration for this set is the magical beauty of tropical mushrooms, particularly this intriguing image of a cluster of pink flamingo oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus djamor) phographed by Laura Berman.

I'm not one to follow colour trends, so when selecting items for any set, i usually start by sourcing furniture, fabrics, and objects that i like, before matching them in the right colour option. I would normally not go for a very prominent seasonal colour, but after seeing the image, i was so inspired I couldn't wait to capture it's essence into the interior scheme. Moodboard: Creating an Mood board is a process that helps me organize and prioritize my thoughts into one direction. It makes it easy to make the best choices and get the elements of the concept and design to all flow and work together to create spaces that are not only visually pleasing, but functional and inspiring.
