Mist is inspired by the philosophy of phenomenology - the study of experiences. It highlights the associations and importance of the experiences we hold dear.

Concept:

1. Nature: Fog & Mist Wall mural from bnwallsofficial 2. Photography: "Translucent Mould of Me" by Laurent Millet 3. Graphics: poster design by beetrootdesignq

I wanted the set to physically represent the preciousness of a fog and the resultant phenomena of a misty weather.

It is an ode to misty mornings spent in nature. The intention is to evoke a tranquility similar to that of the meteorological event itself. This allows the quiet calm of a landscape blanketed in fog the opportunity of an interior existence, enhanced by materiality.

Moodboard:

1. First by Gallotti&Radice from clippings.com 2. Flow chair by MDF Italia from Architonic. 3. Serralunga Honey Outdoor Lamp. Clipping.com

The materials and colours were chosen so the objects within the set reflect physical elements of a fog- opaque, usually composed of water, suspended in the air, restricted visibility, the fresh feeling surrounding the mist and a colour pallete using pantone colours :Oil green, glacier grey and aluminium - that evoke a sense of translucence, texture, and change with the angle of natural light throughout the day.

STYLING:

The set subtly engages us with pieces with similar ambient qualities of a misty fog, using elements like natural light, texture and a muted colour scheme.
